    Cozy stay near city center

Spent one night here and it was just lovely. The room was super clean and cozy, and the shower was hot. Breakfast? Wow, a full English that really hit the spot! The owners are doing a bang-up job. A slight downside was no evening meals, but we found a nice pub just next door.

    homey atmosphere
    comfortable bedding
    noise disturbance
    limited parking

The pub atmosphere was engaging, but noise from the main road did disrupt sleep. It's a good choice for a short stay close to the city center, just be prepared for potential disturbances if your room faces the street.

The staff there were welcoming and pleasant. Our room with a beautiful garden was huge with exceptionally comfortable beds. The food was brilliant - lots of options.

    The bathroom was very dated.

Very tasty breakfast, a huge bed. Next to the city center. Free parking.

The parking lot is very small. Noise from the road.

    Fantastic atmosphere and great breakfast!

The atmosphere was lively and friendly, with engaging locals and fun games like billiards available. The breakfast was a highlight, with freshly made pastries and crispy bacon rolls. The only downside was the shower temperature with a bit of a tricky adjustment. A lovely experience with a warm pub vibe!

It was just a commendable fit for a cursory stop in York with good value. The breakfast was really nice and filling. Look for the quiet spots away from the main road for a peaceful stay.

Enjoyed billiards and darts at the pub, and the breakfast was great. The staff were super friendly and made sure everything was clean. Perfect location for exploring nearby attractions, too.

The shower had a bit of a tricky temperature issue, a bit frustrating.
